Shakespeare in love.

The film is about Shakespeare and it tells when he wrote Romeo and Juliet. The film explains the life of Shakespeare and at the same time the company rehearses the novel in the theatre. Shakespeare is in love with Viola de Lesseps but she is going to marry Wessex. Wessex knows that she loves someone but he doesn't know who he is. In the end Viola and Wessex get married and the company of Shakespeare represents Romeo and Juliet.

A description of a building.

LA SAGRADA FAMÍLIA.

La Sagrada família is situated in the centre of Barcelona. It was designed by Antoni Gaudí and it was started on 19^th march 1882 and at the moment it isn't finished. The Sagrada Família is made of stone. From the outside and the inside it is like a gothic church. Inside, it is very big and it is very well decorated too. I've visited the Sagrada Família twice in my life. I like the stairs and its colored windows the best.

My easter holidays.

The Easter holidays are usually in April. We celebrate when Jesus arrived to Jerusalem, his death and the resurrection. Normally these days we should go to church and we've got family lunches.
This year my Easter holidays were very relaxing because I was tired of the 2nd term. Every day I met my friends and we went to different places and we did a lot of different things. I have enjoyed these Easter holidays a lot!
In my opinion I was too relaxed and now it's difficult to do the things again. But I'm not worried about that because these holidays were fantastic.

GIVING ADVICE

Dear Mariona,

One of my friends has started acting quite strangely. She's always looking for money and she sometimes misses school. She's going out with a guy, Steve, who I don't know very well. Steve doesn't speak to me when the three of us are together and he looks at me very angrily.

I don't really know what's happening. What's your advice?

Dear Clare,

If I were you, I'd be very worried about this because unfortunately it's possible that the problem is serious.

Obviously you should talk with Steve soon and with her too because if you didn't talk to them soon the problem would be worse. It's very important that you talk quickly. If she didn't tell you anything she would talk to another friend.

As for Steve, I think that he's a problem because he probably influences her in many things. Your friend should talk to him clearly before the problem will be bigger.

The Future.
In my opinion our lives will be more easier in the future. We’ll create a lot of pollution. Scientists will create super-robots which do a lot of jobs. The robots will do everything for our. We will have a lot of more time for entertainment or relax.
I think it’s important that we colonise space. If we don’t live on other planets, we’ll have got much pollution in the earth and we don’t survive in it.
In general I feel very pessimistic about the future. I believe that people will learn to be very responsible and intelligent. The future is at our hands.

Hi Aina

I’m writing this email from Catalonia. The weather is a bit cold at the moment but I really like it here because the people are relaxed and cheerful. We’re driving around the country and we’re stopping in different regions.

We’ve just arrived here in Barcelona. In the last few days we’ve seen fantastic shops and buildings and we’ve visited some interesting museums and expositions. So far I’ve really enjoyed the shops and the food and we haven’t had any bad experiences.

Tonight we’re staying in a small village called Sitges near the city of Barcelona. Tomorrow we’re going to leave the car here and we’re going to travel by bus through The Pyrenees. It should be fun.

Tennis has existed since the late 19th century. It started in The United Kingdom and soon the rich people spread it around the world. Now it's a very popular sport and everyone at different ages can play it.
There are many national and international competitions. The most important competitions are Wimbledon, the US Open, the French Open, and the Australia Open. The first competition was Wimbledon. It was played for the first time in 1877. Tennis also became an Olympic sport in 1896.
My favourite tennis player is Rafel Nadal. He's from Mallorca and he's 22 years old. I admire him because he's a very committed person and he never surrenders. He's really strong and fit. Now he's the number one tennis player in the world. He has won many competitions, for example, Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

Sleepy Hollow.

Ichabod Crane is sent to a little, mysterious and silent village to discover the death of three people that someone cut them the head and they did not find it. When he arrived, the people of the village told him that in there there’s a legend. The legend tells that there was a knight that was remembered for cutting heads in the battlefield, but one day someone killed him. Ichabod discovered that this legend had relation with the facts that were happening to the village. Finally he discovered everything. The story explained the love story between Ichabod and Katrina, too.

Welcome to Marion's Club. Here, near the lake in Banyoles, You can relax or do different types of activities. Our club is the best because there are a lot of facilities. Orlando Bloom and Jonny Deep usually come here.

At st="on"Marion's club we have four gyms. In there you can do spinning, aerobics, weights and a lot of other activities. We also have two swimming pools: one is indoors and the other one is outdoors. We have three tennis courts: two are private and one is public. We have a restaurant and a pub too.

We also have a sauna and private massages and a nutritional and beauty specialist. After two weeks at our club, people feel better and they look younger!

A survivor's story.

Two years ago I was in a travelling with my family on our fishing boat. One day we were about fifteen kilometers from harbour when the weather became stormy. There were ten of us on the boat and we were all in the cabin, watching the sea.

Suddenly, I saw a massive wave. I was very frightened. When the wave hit us there was a lot of noise. Suddenly there was a lot of panic and tense. My family were shouting and things were falling and breaking everywhere.

Afterwards I fell better, but my mum and my sister were injured, so when we arrived to the harbour we rang an ambulance. The next day, I felt lucky to be alive!

Describing a 'life picture'.

MARIONA,aged 14.
In my picture the color is yellow because it's my favorite color and it's very relaxing. I also think that I am a relaxed person. I'm usually cheerful and funny. There's a photo of me in the centre of the picutre. This photo is in the "conservatori" of Girona. There I study music. Music is my favorite activity because it's really interesting.
There are other people and objects in my picture. These people are my friends. I love them a lot. You can see that I'm interested in music and I like poeple who are active and friendly.

My summer 2008

My summer started in July. During this month I went to English, Spanish, maths and tennis lessons. I also went to Port de la Selva with my parents in an apartment for five days. It was very boring because I went there with my parents. In August I went to classes too and I also went to a course about music in "Mas Pagès". I stayed there for ten days and I learned a lot.
During an ordinary week, I usually studied and went to classes in the morning and in the afternoon I usually went to "el Club" or "La draga". In "el club" I met my friends and I swam, and in "la draga" I met ohter friends.
My summer 2OO8 was very funny and very busy!=)
